It only takes One

Man’s programs go into the sunset trying to rehabilitate the behavior of individuals. One in every four criminals go back to crime after being released. We can confine them for a time, but we can’t change what goes on in their heart. This is why the Christian life is so powerful for any culture. All it takes is One encounter with God, and people will put an end to their personal insanity and recover.

Paul had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus and would serve Him all his life , and even give his life for the testimony of Christ.

All the Apostles as well, gave their lives for the testimony of Christ because all it takes is One encounter with Christ to end the insanity of sin, and live for a higher purpose.

Think of all those in generations past who came out of many backgrounds and lifestyles , that had a genuine salvation experience with Christ, and never went back to their old life! Because all it takes is One encounter with Christ and they were never the same again.

Many times we are guilty of trying to do what only Jesus himself can do in people’s lives. We want to see them delivered from their addiction to sin , but that will not happen by just being religious or joining some rehabilitation program.

Religion can not subdue the old man and his deeds, only Christ can put him to death. And all it takes is One Real Encounter, and you will serve him the rest of your life.

40 years ago I had One encounter with Christ and I have been preaching the Gospel ever since. I was desperate to know the truth and His truth set me free , delivered me from addiction , and put my family back together again. And we are all still serving God today by his amazing grace.

I see many people that go to the altar again and again for the same problem. (Like the criminal that keeps repeating his crime) All it really takes is One real encounter with Christ, and your life will be made whole. Its not 10 steps to the cross , its just One! Stop trying other means to find an answer, when it can only happen when you come to Christ.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
