Update from Newport News, Virginia
Hello from Newport News!
We have had a wonderful time since the November Rally. God has been faithful in the past months to bring in many visitors. On December 21st we held our first annual Newport News Christmas banquet. The banquet was a success with 23 folks coming to dine with us. We were pleased to see many family members, of the congregation, come and join us for a wonderful night of music, food, and testimonies. The very next day we held our very first Christmas skate. It was a wonderful time of laughs and spills. Since December we have seen many visitors come out. One lady from Smithfield, which is forty minutes away, gave her life to Christ on a Sunday morning. Since then she has been a faithful part of our congregation. We also have had another older lady, who had come several times, give her life to Christ. Since then we have been outreaching and following up on many. We are excited for the upcoming year and all that it will hold. We thank God for the Cape church and all of its support and prayers.
